The Prix de Diane Longines 2012 lived up to all expectations this Sunday in Chantilly. Horse Valyra and jockey John Patrick Murtagh runed the 2,100 meters of the race in 2:10:11 in front of an audience of 40,000 people captivated by the elegance of the day. The public gathered on the lawns of Chantilly racecourse held its breath during the 2:10:11 minutes of the Prix de Diane Longines. Valyra ridden by John Patrick Murtagh won the biggest race for fillies in the world. Valyra trained by J.-C. Rouget and owned by His Highness the Aga Khan has known how to win with style this prestigious and mythical Group 1 race.

Citti on Chock Dee. This race, in partnership with the Ecole des Courses Hippiques and the Association Européenne des Ecoles de Courses Hippiques, shows the will of Longines to encourage youth through sport and to support young talents.
The Prix de Diane Longines is also a celebration of the feminity, in particular with the Prize for Elegance “Mademoiselle Diane par Longines”. During the whole day, style hunters went through the racecourse in order to find the most elegant lady of the day. The jury moderated by the magazine Elle named Charlène Pestana “Mademoiselle Diane par Longines” 2012. She has had the pleasure to receive a watch of The Longines Saint-Imier Collection set with diamonds from hands of Simon Baker, the new Longines Ambassador of Elegance. She will certainly keep an unforgettable memory of this day.
Singer Ayo gave an enchanting concert in the Diane Gardens and the public of Chantilly has been able to discover The Longines Saint-Imier Collection, the new line of the Swiss watch brand. This collection is directly inspired by the watchmaking tradition of Longines. One modelin particular charmed all the ladies in Chantilly; it is in steel and rose gold and is set with 60 diamonds. Its case has a diameter of 30 millimeters and reveals a mother-of-pearl dial with twelve diamond indices. It is fitted with an automatic movement, just like all the models of The Longines Saint-Imier Collection.
